Saltwater Studio Pilates Policies

  • Cancellation/No Show

Cancellations must be made directly by the client through the online scheduling system or app.

Group Classes: Cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid fees. Late cancellations result in a $30 charge. No-shows result in a $45 charge.

Private Sessions: Cancel within the required window to keep your credit. Late cancellations will deduct the session from your package or credit balance.

Failure to self-cancel may result in a no-show fee. While we would love to personally check texts and emails before class, this is not always possible, and after class time the system will automatically process the fee.

We truly don’t want to charge cancellation or no-show fees, but as a small business whose instructors are paid based on scheduled cut-off times, these policies are necessary to keep our studio healthy and sustainable.

  • Class Package Expirations

If you find that you cannot, or will not, be able to use your classes within the allotted time, please purchase the package that best suits your schedule and needs. Each class package includes specific details regarding credits and expiration dates in our booking software. There will be no exceptions or extensions.

    Expiration Dates:

    First Time Client: 30 days

    1 Class: 3 months

    5 Class Pack: 3 months

    10 Class Pack: 3 months

    Gyp.sea : 1 Year

  • Membership Policy

Memberships run for a 3-month commitment and continue month-to-month thereafter.

To cancel, written notice must be provided at least 30 days before your next billing date by emailing hello@saltwaterstudiopilates.com

    .

If cancellation is requested during the initial 3-month agreement, a $150 early termination fee will apply, along with one final billing (due to the 30-day notice).

Membership freezes may be available on a case-by-case basis — please email us to discuss options.

Membership credits do not roll over into the following month.

Memberships are offered at our most reduced class rate.  Because of this discounted pricing, unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. This helps us maintain small class sizes, provide predictable scheduling for our instructors, and keep membership pricing as low as possible.

  • Waitlist

The waitlists do move! Feel free to jump on a waitlist and expect to get into class!

Registering for a waitlist is treated the same as registering for a class. If you are moved from the waitlist into the class, we expect you will be arriving. If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to make the class, remove yourself to avoid a late charge.

  • Grip Socks and Clothing

Grip socks are required for all classes, with no exceptions. This is for hygiene, as the equipment’s fabric loops come into contact with every client’s hands and feet. If you don’t have grip socks, they are available for purchase at the studio.

We recommend wearing athletic clothing without zippers or snaps—something comfortable to move in, supportive, and breathable. Choose attire that provides enough coverage for you to feel confident while exercising, but avoid loose-fitting clothes, as instructors need to clearly see posture and body position to guide you safely and effectively.

  • Arriving Late or Leaving Early

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class to get settled. For safety, doors lock once class begins, and late arrivals can’t be accommodated. We also ask that you stay for the full class; if you need to leave early, let your instructor know beforehand and choose a spot near the end to minimize disruption.

  • Cell Phones / Recording & Personal Items

All personal items should be placed in cubbies before class, and cell phones silenced. Phones are not permitted on the machines—if you need to use your phone, please step out of class.

Out of respect for your fellow classmates and instructors, photography and video recording are not allowed during class. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and fully present without worrying about being recorded. If you’d like a short clip for your own use, please speak with your instructor and they can arrange a time before or after class when possible.

  • Modifications - Injury - Pregnancy

    Class Modifications, Injuries & Pregnancy

Your safety and experience are our top priority. While Pilates is a highly adaptable method, not all modifications can be offered within a group setting. Our instructors are happy to provide general adjustments, but certain situations require more individualized attention to ensure proper form and safety.

If you have an injury, limitation, or specific concern, please let your instructor know before class. In some cases, private sessions may be better suited to address your needs and provide the most effective workout for your body.

Pilates can also be a wonderful form of movement during pregnancy when approached with care and appropriate guidance. Some modifications can be made in group classes; however, private prenatal sessions allow for greater personalization and are strongly recommended. Please contact us prior to booking, and always consult with your doctor before participating in class.

Our goal is to help every client move safely, confidently, and with the attention they deserve — whether in a group or private setting.

  • Sales & Payment Policy

All class sales and membership charges are final. No refunds or transfers are permitted.

Class packs may be shared; however, memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared.

Instructors, class times, and schedules are subject to change without notice.

All classes must be paid in full prior to participation, either through our website or at the front desk. A valid credit card must remain on file — clients without an active card will not be able to book or attend classes.

Classes and packages expire according to the timelines listed under our Pricing section and cannot be extended. All scheduling, payments, and account management are handled online. Please note that we do not accept cash for transactions.

For any inquiries or special requests, please reach out via email.

Please review the Agreements section in your account at the time of purchase for complete terms and conditions.
